3. Licence Grant
Big Deck software is licensed, not sold. Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the applicable Big Deck product on the number of Machines permitted by your subscription tier.
You may not:
- Sub-license, rent, lease, or lend the software to any third party.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the software, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.
- Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices, labels, or marks.
- Use the software in any manner that violates applicable laws or regulations.
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with licence validation, activation limits, or usage caps.
4. Subscription Tiers and Pricing
4.1 Free Tier
Big Deck Selector is available as a free tier with the following conditions:
- Account registration is required.
- Usage is capped at 5 launches per day.
- Anonymous usage data and telemetry are collected to improve the product.
- We reserve the right to modify free tier limits at any time with 30 days' notice.
4.2 Paid Subscriptions
Paid plans are offered on a monthly, annual, or lifetime basis. Pricing is displayed in GBP (£) on our pricing page. Regional pricing may apply based on your billing country.
4.3 Machine Activation Limits
Each subscription tier permits activation on a specified number of Machines, ranging from 1 to 5 depending on your plan. You may deactivate a Machine through your account dashboard to free an activation slot.
4.4 Cross-Product Discounts
An active Big Deck subscription entitles you to a 35% discount on Big Deck Selector paid plans. This discount applies automatically and is not combinable with other promotions unless stated otherwise.
5. Offline Grace Period
Licence tokens are valid for 30 days from issue. During this period, the software will function without an internet connection. After 30 days, the software must connect to our servers to revalidate your licence. If revalidation fails, the software will operate under free tier restrictions until a connection is restored.
6. Subscription Lapse and Graceful Degradation
If your paid subscription expires or is cancelled, your software will not be hard-locked. Instead, it will gracefully degrade to free tier functionality. Your workspace data and preferences are preserved locally on your Machine. You may resubscribe at any time to restore full functionality.
7. Payment Terms
- All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
- Prices are displayed and charged in GBP (£). VAT is included where applicable.
- Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
- You may cancel auto-renewal at any time through your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
8. Refund Policy
In accordance with the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase. During this period, you may request a full refund for any reason by contacting us at enquiries@corsolutions.co.uk.
Refunds after the 14-day period are considered on a case-by-case basis at our discretion. Lifetime licences are eligible for refund within the 14-day cooling-off period only.
9. Auto-Renewal and Cancellation
Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically. We will send a reminder email at least 7 days before each renewal. You may cancel at any time via your account dashboard or by contacting us. Upon cancellation:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of the current paid period.
- No partial refunds are issued for unused time within the current period.
- Your account reverts to free tier functionality after the paid period ends.
